Capturing the Little Moments From Your Big Day
Wedding photos that make you smile, chuckle and even well up every time you look at them because they’re buzzing with the energy and emotion from your special day.
Tell Your Love Story in Photos
You want your wedding day to be perfect. By perfect, you mean a perfect representation of your personalities and relationship. You’ve been busy Googling a venue that suits your style and curating your guest list so it feels intimate and close-knit. The photographer who documents your day is just as important, both how they interact with you on the day and the kind of photos they produce. You want your wedding to be you, through and through, perfectly imperfect.
Does this tick any of your boxes?
- Documentary-style wedding photography – On the sidelines, I capture the real moments, reactions and emotions at your wedding.
- Relaxed posing – You decide what couple and family photos we take and I’ll give you some direction but mostly let you be with your loved ones as comes naturally to you.
- Natural editing – I edit to enhance and highlight because you can’t top genuine smiles, laughter and love.
- Discrete and unobtrusive – I’ll mostly blend into your wedding party so you don’t feel observed and feel free to enjoy your wedding!
- Personalised – We come up with a shot list of photos you actually want to look back on. You can get creative with it, whether you want to go sentimental or silly.

Document the Moments You Don’t Want to Forget!
Once the cake has been eaten and the champagne drunk, your wedding photos are a portal back to one of the best days of your life.
As a documentary wedding photographer, I document the day as it unfolds and I’ll only take the posed photos you’re interested in. It could be group photos with each side of the family or recreating your first date in the very same cafe. The rest of the time I’m snapping away as events happen.
Soak up every moment of your wedding knowing the smiles, laughter, loving looks and proud hugs are all being captured on camera so you can relive the day over and over again. You can relax and be present with your partner and the people you’ve chosen to witness this momentous occasion.

How it works
First, contact me with the key details – the wedding date and location. I’ll confirm I have availability and send you a questionnaire to get the rest of the information about your wedding and you as a couple. If you’re not sure how much coverage you need or have any other questions about hiring me as your wedding photographer, we can jump on a call.
Once you’ve paid a booking fee, you’ve secured your spot! We’ll schedule a pre-wedding consultation for a few weeks prior to your wedding date. This is when we’ll discuss timings, locations, the shot list and how it will work so I’m ready to go on the day and you know what to expect. The photos will be delivered via an online gallery within 8 weeks after your wedding.
Hi I’m Sarah! Your London-Loving Wedding Photographer
As you’re considering inviting me to your wedding, it’s only fair you get to know me a bit! Although my aim is to be so discrete that you barely notice me. Aside from photography, my three main hobbies are running, motorbikes and hanging out with my cat. I’m a Londoner and I love it! I’m based over in Clapham.
Now back to photography, I feel so honoured to be part of people’s weddings and given the responsibility of documenting such a special day. I really do it because I love it, particularly documentary wedding photography at small weddings in my favourite city. Capturing people’s emotions and reactions is what I set out to do with my photography and there are plenty of emotions and reactions at weddings, particularly smaller more intimate ones. You never want to forget that just married feeling or the outpouring of love at your reception.
I’ve spent the past 5+ years refining my photography skills, even getting mentoring from my own wedding photographer, to turn the best moments of your wedding into photos that take you back to the feelings of that very moment.

Wedding Photography FAQs
What’s my approach to wedding photography?
My style aligns with documentary wedding photography and natural wedding photography. This means I like capturing real moments and emotions with minimal intervention like posing or editing. It’s like telling the story of your wedding day in photos as an unobtrusive observer. I focus on bringing out your personality and the in-the-moment reactions of your guests.
How do you organise couple and family photos?
Alongside the documentary-style wedding photos, I usually take some that are more posed. Ahead of time, we’ll discuss the shots you want, when in the day we’ll take them and where. We don’t need to cycle through every combination of group photos you can think of! We’ll focus on the photos you really want to look back on. For example, ‘just married’ couple photos inside the venue and photos with immediate family outside the venue are lovely additions to your wedding photos.
I give as much direction as you find helpful when taking posed photos. If you want some direction in finding a comfortable pose, I’ll help out. If you just want to hold your loved ones as comes naturally, I’ll snap away. You can always say if a pose feels awkward and we’ll try something new.
How do I know if you’re the right photographer for me?
I’m the photographer for you if you nod your head at one or more of the following:
- You’re going small for your wedding at a venue like a town hall or hotel, inviting only your closest loved ones so it feels really intimate.
- You love London and want to bring some of its urban vibe into your photos.
- You want wedding photography that tells the story of the day, not interrupts your day with endless configurations of group photos.
- You’re most excited about documenting real moments like your dad’s face when he walks you down the aisle or your uni friends enjoying their drinks at the pub.
- You’ve got some creative ideas for photos you’d like to take for sentimental reasons.
- You’re looking for fuss-free wedding photography with a photographer who makes you feel comfortable.
If you’d like to have a call to get to know each other and ask me questions, contact me and I’d be happy to organise that.
How do I book?
Contact me with your wedding date and location and the package you’d like. I’ll check my availability and send you a follow-up questionnaire. Once you’ve paid your 50% deposit, you’re confirmed in my calendar.
Make the sentimental, sassy and silly moments last a lifetime!
With documentary wedding photography as personal as your wedding day.
